Bistro42 -an offshoot of the T Forty Two cafes focuses on more substantial, modern bistro fare.

The restaurant presents an elegant space in which to enjoy hearty meals, premium tea blends and inspired evening cocktails accompanied by music from the baby grand piano.

Menu items include refreshing salads such as the Crabmeat Nicoise and Seafood Medley as well as heavier main plates like the Pappardelle with Slow-braised Wagyu Cheek, Grilled Tiger Prawn Linguine, Ben’s Roasted Chicken Coq Au Vin and Black Angus Prime Rib served with all the trimmings.

A decadent afternoon tea features scones, savoury pastries, house-cured salmon sandwiches, mouth-watering desserts and macarons.

The inner restaurant provides a more intimate dining space with its dark wood panelling, lilac banquettes and marble tables, while the garden space has become the favourite for leisurely meals between ladies who lunch and quick breaks for the professional crowd.
